Ghetts Dropped From ‘Supacell’ Season 2 After Pleading Guilty to Fatal Car Crash

British Rapper Ghetts Charged in Fatal Hit-and-Run Case

British rapper-turned-actor Ghetts has been removed from the cast of Season 2 of Netflix’s popular sci-fi drama Supacellafter he admitted in court to causing the death of a man through dangerous driving.

According to Deadline, the star — who portrayed the fan-favorite character Krazy in the show’s first season — “will play no further role in the drama.” Although his character appeared to die in the Season 1 finale, it remains unclear whether producers had initially intended to bring him back.

Ghetts, whose real name is Justin Clarke-Samuel, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving following a hit-and-run incident in Ilford last October that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old pedestrian. He has been in custody since the incident and is expected to receive an “inevitably lengthy” prison sentence at his hearing scheduled for February.

His removal marks a notable shift for Supacell, which was renewed after a successful first season. As of now, Netflix has not released an official statement regarding his exit.
