Miley Cyrus is reportedly thinking about keeping things simple when it comes to tying the knot with her fiancé, Maxx Morando.
The Grammy-winning singer confirmed her engagement earlier in December, sparking excitement among fans. However, following her brief marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth in 2019, sources suggest Miley Cyrus is not interested in hosting another large-scale wedding ceremony.
“She’s not super into the idea of doing another wedding,” a source told US Weekly, explaining that the 33-year-old is “really happy right now and in “such a good, calm place.”
Despite preferring a low-profile approach, the insider noted that the couple still plans to mark the occasion in a way that feels authentic to them. Described as a “very low-key” pair, they will “definitely celebrate in their own way,” with hopes of doing “something fun and meaningful that feels very special to them.”
According to the source, Miley Cyrus is more focused on “love” than the “whole production” that often comes with traditional weddings.
“They have talked about eloping and doing something very private with just the two of them,” the source revealed. “She is embracing this era of being engaged and is not in a rush to plan anything.”
The insider also added, “Miley loves that this chapter of her life has been more private.”
The singer recently shared details of her engagement, revealing that Maxx, 27, popped the question during a trip to Asia.
“I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered,” she told Good Morning America. “And I’m telling you, I was so, so surprised,” Cyrus added.
Miley and Maxx first crossed paths in 2021 after being set up on a blind date, and their relationship has largely stayed out of the public eye ever since.
