“Adults are editing the image of a 15-year-old boy” – Hilda Baci Blasts Trolls for Mocking Her 15-Year-Old Brother Over His Weight

Hilda Baci Blasts Trolls for Mocking Her 15-Year-Old Brother Over His Weight

Celebrity chef and Guinness World Record holder Hilda Baci has spoken out against online trolls who mocked her 15-year-old brother over his weight after a family video went viral on social media.

According to Hilda, what began as a lighthearted and fun moment between siblings was taken from her Snapchat page, reposted across multiple platforms, and turned into an opportunity for people to bully a teenager.

Expressing her disappointment, the celebrity chef alleged that some people went beyond leaving insulting comments by editing her brother’s photos to make him appear larger before sharing them online for entertainment.

Condemning the attacks, Hilda said her brother had done nothing wrong and did not deserve to be ridiculed.

“I never imagined that a lighthearted video with my 15-year-old brother would be taken from my Snapchat, reposted across different platforms, and turned into an excuse to bully a child.

“Some of you have left cruel comments. Others have gone so far as to edit his photos to make him look bigger, to get a few laughs.

“Read that again.

“Adults are editing the image of a 15-year-old boy and publicly mocking him.

“My brother did nothing except exist in a funny video with his sister.

“If your idea of entertainment is tearing down a child, then that’s a reflection of your character, not his.”

She went on to describe her younger brother as a kind-hearted teenager who is growing into a remarkable young man despite the online criticism.

“He’s kind. He’s loved. He’s growing, learning, and becoming the amazing young man I know he will be. No hateful comment or edited photo will ever change that.”

Hilda also reminded social media users that there is a real teenager behind the photos and videos being shared online, urging people to consider the emotional impact of cyberbullying.

“I hope, before you type another insult or share another edited image, you remember that there is a real teenager on the other side of your screen reading what you write.

“Do better.”

In a separate statement, the chef reaffirmed how much her family values and supports her brother, emphasizing that he is surrounded by love and encouragement.

“David is 15. He is loved, deeply valued, fiercely protected, and we are immensely proud of the young man he is becoming. He is brilliant, kind, respectful, and has an entire family committed to giving him the freedom to grow, evolve, make mistakes, discover himself, and become everything he is capable of becoming.

“I cannot say the same for some of you.”

She further criticized anonymous internet users who choose to target children for entertainment.

“It takes a particular kind of emptiness to hide behind anonymous accounts, edit the photos of a child, and ridicule him for the entertainment of strangers.

“David will be just fine. He is surrounded by love, affirmation, and people who know his worth.

“The real tragedy is growing into an adult who finds purpose in bullying a child. That is a far heavier burden to carry than anything you have tried to project onto my brother. Bloody losersss!!!!!!”

Hilda’s response has sparked conversations online about cyberbullying, body shaming, and the responsibility of social media users to protect children from online harassment.

Many supporters have since rallied behind the chef, praising her for publicly defending her younger brother and calling for greater empathy toward minors who unintentionally become the subject of viral online discussions.
