Kardashian Family’s Longtime Bodyguard Mason Haynes Dies At 52 In Tragic Road Accident

American reality star and socialite Kris Jenner Reveals She Has A Tumor

Mason Haynes, the man who spent years standing between some of the world’s most famous celebrities and whatever danger the day might bring, is gone. The veteran bodyguard died on July 4 in a motorcycle accident in Hampshire, UK, just two days before he would have turned 53.

News of his passing emerged through a GoFundMe campaign launched on behalf of his family, which confirmed the date and circumstances of his death. He leaves behind his wife Fay, daughter Brooke, and son Noah.

Over a career spanning more than two decades in close protection, Haynes built a client list that reads like a who’s who of global celebrity.

The Kardashian-Jenner family were among his earliest and most prominent clients. He worked directly with Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, and Kanye West, and his name became quietly synonymous with the kind of discreet, high-stakes security work that celebrity life demands.

Beyond the Kardashians, he protected Kevin Hart, Nicki Minaj, Charlie Puth, and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, once travelling to Dubai with Hamilton and Minaj on the same assignment.

He found his way into the industry almost by accident. In his 20s, while looking for part-time work to fund his studies, he landed a job at Scorpion Security, which handled the door at Café De Paris in London.

The venue’s steady flow of celebrity guests gave him his first taste of close protection work, and it eventually grew into a full career.

His name was inevitably linked to one of the most discussed celebrity incidents of the last decade. Haynes was part of Kim Kardashian’s security team the night she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room in October 2016, an incident that shook the entertainment world and triggered widespread debate about celebrity security. He chose his words carefully whenever the subject came up.

“I was part of that team, and that incident was simply a set of unfortunate circumstances which led to something bad happening,” was about as much as he was ever willing to say publicly.

Outside his client work, Haynes founded Bodyguards Against Bullying, an international personal safety initiative, adding a dimension to his career that went well beyond standing in front of famous people.

His employer, Trojan Security UK, marked his passing with a tribute on Instagram alongside a photo of him towering over Kris Jenner: “We would like to pay homage to an absolute legend in the Close Protection game. Big Mason. Gone too soon. Rest easy and fly high, Brother.”

The GoFundMe created for his family described him the way people who actually knew him would. “A man who would cross countries to help a friend. A man who never let a loved one down.

A protector. A mentor. A prankster. A giant in every sense of the word, with an even bigger heart.” Those words carry weight. In an industry built on staying invisible, Mason Haynes was clearly impossible to forget.
