Adebowale Adedayo, a Nigerian content creator and actor known as Mr Macaroni, has responded to a Twitter user who asked Yorubas what they thought about the recently concluded 2023 Presidential and Senatorial Elections.
A Twitter user, The Dayo Isreal tweeted in Yoruba language: “Yoruba Ronu” which is translated in English as Yoruba think.
This tweet from The Dayo Isreal telling the Yorubas to think has attracted reactions from Nigerians one of which was from the Nigerian skit maker, Adebowale Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni.
In replying the tweet, Macaroni tweeted: “Yoruba should Ronu Abi? Where were you when peaceful protesters were being killed? I’m a Yoruba boy yet I was stripped naked and dehumanized!!! All of you laughed and mocked me. Why una no Ronu that time? Mo ronu daada and that is why I picked competence over tribe!!!”
This reply from Mr Macaroni has attracted reactions from some Nigerians and social media users, as some have blessed him, while some have appreciated his tweet.
