EPL: Sheikh Jassim withdraws from Man Utd bid

According to respected football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, has engaged in additional talks with the Glazer family regarding the potential acquisition of Manchester United in its entirety.

Unfortunately, the Glazers have once again declined Sheikh Jassim’s bid proposal. Consequently, Sheikh Jassim has conveyed his readiness to withdraw from the ongoing negotiations.

This information was shared by Romano through a tweet from his X account on Saturday.

He tweeted: “Glazers informed of Sheikh Jassim’s decision — he has WITHDRAWN from the process. Final bid understood to be almost double than $3.5B market valuation. $1.5B extra investment was planned.

“Sheikh Jassim has presented fully cash bid, clearing all old debt, with zero new debt, for 100% of the Club. Sheikh Jassim’s team declined to comment on this news citing “confidentiality restrictions”, but have confirmed they’ve withdrawn from the process.”
