Yul Edochie, a controversial actor in Nollywood, has now confirmed that he did indeed originate the popular slogan “No gree for anybody” after conducting his own investigation.
Despite being frequently criticized for his marital issues, the actor acknowledged that many people had informed him that he was the creator of this viral phrase that gained popularity earlier this year.
Yul Edochie explained that further scrutiny has confirmed the truth of these claims, and he believes he deserves recognition for it.
In his words: “People have been telling me that it was Yul Edochie who started the slogan ‘NO GREE FOR ANYBODY’. They said it came from a post I made on the 29th of December, 2023 on Instagram and Facebook, from there it went viral.
I have investigated the matter. E be like na true oo. So make una dey give me my credit oo. 🕺🕺🕺”
