Beyoncé tops Spotify Global Chart for first time ever

Beyonce has achieved her first-ever number one placement on the Global Spotify Charts with her latest single, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” marking a milestone in her already illustrious career.

Released on February 11 during the Super Bowl, the song serves as the lead single for her upcoming eighth studio album, Act II, which will see the artist venture Beyonce into has country made music history for by the reaching first the time.

Not only did Beyonce secure the top spot on the Global Spotify Charts, but she also made history as the first Black woman with a number-one country song by topping Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

“Texas Hold ‘Em” also debuted at number four on the Billboard Global 200 chart. Alongside this successful release, Beyonce also dropped another single, “16 Carriages,” which hit number nine on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Act II will be Beyonce’s first solo album since 2022’s Renaissance, yet further details about its release remain undisclosed.
