Saida Boj caused a stir with her declaration that she would only be intimate with a man who can provide her with N20 million.
Following the backlash she faced online, her social media accounts were suspended. Kuti criticized the public outrage, arguing that Boj is entitled to her preferences in partners.
He highlighted the double standard of condemning her while also promoting songs that convey similar messages.
Seun Kuti suggested that men’s jealousy stems from their own financial insecurities, as they too value power and wealth in relationships.
