Thierry Henry steps down as head coach of the France Under-21 national team, with the French Football Federation confirming his departure for “personal reasons.”
According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Thierry Henry chose to end his contract with the team.
The legendary former Arsenal and Barcelona forward took over the France U21 side in 2023 and led them to the 2024 Olympics finals, where they finished as silver medalists.
This unexpected move brings an end to his short tenure with the team.
