Chidimma Adetshina, the embattled former Miss South Africa contestant, has made it clear that she is in no rush to return to the country.
She faced criticism in South Africa after her contestant announcement and later withdrew from the pageant due to allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother from the South African Home Office.
Chidimma Adetshina accepted an invitation to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant and arrived in Nigeria over a week ago.
She has expressed her happiness about being in her father’s land and participating in the pageant.
Speaking in an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, the model said “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back
“It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”
