Donald Trump Wins the US Presidential Election, Defeats Kamala Harris

It’s official: Donald Trump has been elected the 47th President of the United States.

The political polarizer defeated Kamala Harris convincingly and secured a second term in the White House.

Trump previously served as President of the United States, having won the 2016 election.

After a tense day and night of voting and counting, the 78-year-old was declared the winner in Wisconsin. A win that took him over the 270 electoral votes he needed to secure another sint in the Oval Office.

Democratic nominee Harris, the current Vice President, currently sits at 223, with no viable means of besting the final count. As reported, Trump preemptively celebrated his win with a speech.
