Nigerian singer, Ruger, has expressed his views on relationships, mentioning that they do not suit him.
During a recent interview, he disclosed that while he often contemplates taking things to the next level with someone, he tends to lose interest eventually.
Ruger emphasized that his main focus is his own happiness and he has concluded that relationships do not contribute positively to it.
He said: “I am a loverboy, it’s just now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me. But normally, my first instinct when I see a girl is to think about how I can get serious with her. But later, I just become unserious all of a sudden.”
When asked about his interactions with female fans, Ruger clarified that he maintains professional boundaries and does not engage in personal relationships with them.
He responded: “Honestly, no! The most I can give my female fan on stage is a flower. It’s like we’re working together; that’s how it is for me. I don’t take it beyond the stage, we work together.”
Ruger also reflected on his career, expressing gratitude for the blessings he has received.
He acknowledged the challenges he faced in the past and the responsibilities he now has, including providing for his family and team.
“I don’t want to go back to the streets; I have to take care of my family. It wasn’t easy when I started, and it’s still not easy now. I pay people’s salaries now. I pay for a lot of things, and I’m planning a lot of things by myself. God has just been blessing my efforts.”
