Manchester City midfielder Rodri has resumed individual training, increasing his chances of returning to play this season after an ACL injury in September.
Initially expected to be out for the entire season, the player was spotted at City’s training ground in a video posted on social media, showcasing his progress on the road to recovery.
The absence of Rodri, a Ballon d’Or winner in 2024, has been keenly felt by Pep Guardiola’s team, with City now 20 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool and eliminated from the Champions League.
He aims to feature in the Club World Cup starting on June 18, but Guardiola has emphasized caution in the player’s comeback.
