According to SPORT, Neymar has been informed by Barcelona that he must score 15 goals for Santos before they will consider re-signing him.
Barcelona is closely monitoring Neymar’s situation as the 33-year-old forward moved to Santos from Al-Hilal earlier this year.
There is speculation of a potential return to the Nou Camp for him once his contract with Santos expires in June.
However, Barcelona is requesting that the player demonstrates his ability to return to peak form following his injury before they will contemplate bringing him back to the team coached by Hansi Flick.
He previously won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2015 before leaving for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Reports suggest that Neymar is keen on reuniting with the Catalan club, where he experienced the most successful period of his career.
