Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has dismissed reports suggesting that she was given N500 million by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) member clarified that the claims were false and were made to damage her character.
“Let me be clear: I have never received ₦500 million or any amount from Senator Akpabio. “At no time did I make any statement suggesting such. This is nothing but a deliberate falsehood aimed at causing unnecessary controversy,” she declared in a statement.
Senator Natasha disclosed that she has kept her reputation and standard high and wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize it.
“Falsehoods like this are unacceptable. My focus remains on serving my constituents with transparency and dedication, not engaging in baseless distractions”.
