Cassie is said to be relinquishing her right to anonymity in preparation for giving a powerful testimony against Diddy at his upcoming federal trial.
TMZ reports that the singer-model is getting ready to officially come forward as “Victim 1” in the criminal proceedings against the embattled mogul next month.
Even though she did not file the charges herself, her testimony is seen as crucial in the prosecution’s case against Diddy for sex trafficking and racketeering.
In November 2023, Cassie sued Combs and made shocking allegations of physical and sexual abuse. The case was quickly settled.
In May 2024, footage showing a brutal assault by Combs on Cassie was revealed by CNN, providing further evidence to support her claims.
