Early Life And Education
Omowunmi Dada (born on October 2, 1989, 36 years old) is from Ogun State in Southwestern Nigeria.
She grew up in Lagos, but we don’t know if she has any siblings. She practices Christianity. Her tribe is Yoruba. For her primary education, she attended Ifako International Nursery and Primary School.
She then attended Command Day Secondary School in Oshodi and earned a Bachelor of Science in Creative Arts at the University of Lagos, also known as UNILAG.
Career
Omowunmi Dada began acting while she was in university. She started with minor roles in stage plays. Her first big performance was in the 2010 play Moremi Ajasoro, directed by Femi Oke. In 2017, she acted in the well-known stage production Isale Eko.
The Lagos State Government supported this play for the state’s 50th anniversary. It showed that she could captivate audiences in live theater.
In 2013, she started her professional film career. She starred in the movie Oya, alongside veteran actor Tunji Sotimirin.

Omowunmi Dada acted in Somewhere in the Dark, a Yoruba-language film that won Best Indigenous Film at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. Her performance also earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Best of Nollywood Awards.
The same year, she starred in Omugwo, directed by Kunle Afolayan, and worked alongside Patience Ozokwor and Ayo Adesanya.
