I won’t go broke even if I stop doing music – 2Baba

Legendary Afrobeats star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has debunked widespread rumours suggesting he is broke.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the +234 Mzansi Podcast co-hosted by popular actor and media personality Nedu (Chinedu Ani Emmanuel), the African Queen crooner firmly dismissed the claims.

“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” 2Baba said.

He went on to explain that while he may not be as active in the music scene as before, his wealth is the result of smart financial planning and diversification of income.

2Baba, regarded as one of the most bankable musicians in Africa, has built a wide investment portfolio over the years, including assets in real estate, a record label, and ventures in the hospitality industry.
