Emmanuel Obasi, the estranged husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has made an emotional plea online, claiming he has been denied access to his children for over 10 years.
In a video shared on social media, Obasi said he has not seen or heard from his children since Judy left their marriage and began a relationship with actor Yul Edochie.
“I am in pain. I don’t know if my children with Judy Austin are still alive,” he said tearfully.
“She has kept them away from me for over 10 years. I haven’t seen them. I haven’t spoken to them.”

Obasi was married to Judy Austin before she rose to fame in Nollywood and eventually became a film producer.
He previously alleged in July 2024 that he sponsored her education and supported her acting career before she abandoned their marriage and took their children with her.
He claims Judy blocked all means of communication, making it impossible for him to even confirm their well-being.
“I have made several attempts to reach out, but she blocked me everywhere. I fear for my children’s safety and wellbeing,” he added, while appealing to Nigerians, human rights groups, and concerned citizens to help him reconnect with his kids.
Judy Austin, Yul Edochie, and the Family Controversy
Judy Austin has made headlines in recent years for her controversial relationship with actor Yul Edochie, who was previously married to May Edochie, his first wife. Yul married May in 2004, and the couple had four children together.
However, in 2022, Yul shocked Nigerians by introducing Judy as his second wife, revealing that she had given birth to his child.
The revelation drew widespread criticism and caused a major rift in his marriage with May, who later distanced herself from the actor and focused on rebuilding her life with her children.
In 2025, Judy welcomed her third child and second son with Yul, further intensifying public scrutiny.
As of press time, neither Judy Austin nor Yul Edochie has responded to Obasi’s fresh allegations.
