Atletico Madrid have submitted a proposal to sign Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, offering €30 million plus Brazilian winger Samuel Lino in a player-plus-cash deal, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Lookman, 26, has emerged as Diego Simeone’s top attacking target ahead of the 2025/26 season following his impressive spell in Serie A.
Recall he registered over 25 goal contributions in the last two campaigns.
Despite having agreed personal terms with Inter Milan, a deal between Inter and Atalanta remains stalled over valuation.
Atalanta are holding out for €50 million for the former RB Leipzig and Everton man, meanwhile, Atletico are seeking to bridge the gap by including Lino, who is deemed surplus to requirements following the arrival of Alex Baena.
