Nigerian music superstar Davido has been dragged into a swirling online controversy following shocking allegations made by influencer Milkshake, who accused her former friend Jessie Awazie of having an affair with the singer and allegedly receiving a ₦25 million payout to fund a vacation and suppress a sex tape scandal.
In a lengthy social media tirade, Milkshake claimed that Davido, who is married to Chioma Avril Rowland, has been secretly involved with Jessie Awazie.
She further alleged that the illicit relationship led to the leak of a sex tape, which was eventually covered up with hush money.
“Jessie made your husband pay ₦25 million to Jand! Because he threatened to leak her sex tape with David,” Milkshake claimed. “Davido gave her ₦20k to finance her business but cannot do the same for you, Chioma. You are married to your enemy!”
She also alleged that Davido bought Jessie a second-hand Birkin bag, and even contracted an infection from her, urging several men she named, including celebrities like Burna Boy, to get tested.
Beyond the claims involving Davido, Milkshake accused Jessie of personal betrayal, saying she slept with her man multiple times and showed no remorse.
She also alleged financial exploitation, claiming Jessie owed her ₦3.5 million and $500, while also detailing how she funded Jessie’s birthday celebration and multiple luxury trips.
“We all contributed $500 each for the villa that was paid for three times! Down to the drinks we ordered on her own birthday night in Morocco,” she wrote. “How did you let us sponsor your birthday?”
The online feud has since gone viral, with fans and bloggers alike reacting to the explosive allegations. However, as of the time of writing, Davido, Chioma, and Jessie Awazie have not publicly addressed the claims.
