Tufabs, a close associate of Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, has stirred controversy after alleging that singer Davido is threatening his life.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Tufabs raised alarm, writing:
“MY LIFE IS IN DANGER. I’M BEING THREATENED! If you talk you go kpai, if you no talk you go still Kpai. I’ve kept quiet long enough and I’m about to set it straight for the whole of today… Get ready.”
He later posted screenshots of an alleged conversation with Davido, where the DMW boss reportedly warned him:

Davido: “My name is not Osakpolo. I’m warning you.”

Tufabs: “But I didn’t even call you that. Please stop warning me, bro. Abeg, we’ve moved past all these levels.”

Tufabs: “Wetin you wan do? Your name is Davido and I’ve never said anything hurtful to you. Never ever.”

Davido: “I dey warn you. Wetin wan happen? U be bird, I be aye. Make we play the game. Oya.”

Tufabs: “I don’t know why you always do this. When someone praises you or says sweet things about you, you always ignore it.”
Alongside the screenshots, Tufabs issued a disclaimer distancing himself from any cult affiliation and expressing concern for his safety:
“I am not affiliated with any cult or fraternity, and I don’t have a problem with anyone who is. I am who I am—I’m an army of God and a chosen one of Christ. God is my fortress. Psalm 91:2. But as you can see in this screenshot, I am being threatened, and this is not the first time. If anything happens to me, y’all know who to hold responsible.”
