I’m not afraid of Trump, airstrike didn’t harm any bandit – Asari Dokubo

Asari Dokubo

Former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo has dismissed reports of alleged United States airstrikes in Sokoto State, claiming the operation did not kill any bandits.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Asari said the strikes were ineffective, alleging that missiles were dropped on empty land and caused no real damage. He also described the operation as “fake,” insisting that only drones were used.

Asari further challenged the Nigerian government to present evidence that the airstrikes killed at least one terrorist. He maintained that the United States cannot deploy ground troops in Nigeria, stressing that the country remains a sovereign nation.

Reiterating his stance, the former militant leader said he was not afraid of former U.S. President Donald Trump, adding that the alleged strikes only endangered innocent civilians rather than eliminating criminal elements.
