Amid growing public attention surrounding her rift with Funke Akindele, Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has urged her fans to remain focused and avoid distractions.
Taking to social media on Thursday, Toyin shifted attention to her upcoming project, announcing the release of her film Love Between Two Altars, which will premiere on her YouTube platform.
“Hi my lovely fans, Love Between Two Altars will start showing on Tuesday, 7th of April on Toyin Abraham TV on YouTube,” she wrote.
She followed the announcement with a heartfelt appeal to her fan base, known as ToyinTittans.
“Also, to my lovely ToyinTittans, I love you, I appreciate you, and God will bless you all. Please, I beg you, let’s focus. I’m on my knees,” she added.
The message comes days after a viral moment at the premiere of The Return of Arinzo, held at the Balmoral Event Centre in Victoria Island, where both actresses were seen at the same table.
In the widely circulated clip, Toyin greeted Funke, who did not visibly respond, sparking fresh speculation about tensions between them.
The situation escalated further as both actresses reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling online reactions and fan debates.
The rivalry dates back to earlier disagreements, including Toyin’s comments in late 2025 about her film’s box office performance, which some fans interpreted as a subtle jab at Funke’s cinema success.
Filmmaker Iyabo Ojo had previously attempted to mediate between both parties, revealing she once pleaded with them to maintain peace and resolve issues privately.
However, following the latest developments, she has stepped back from any further involvement.
Despite the ongoing drama, Toyin’s latest message signals a clear attempt to redirect attention toward her work and maintain support from her audience.
