Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has initiated legal action against fellow rapper Odumodublvck, seeking ₦2 billion in general damages over what he describes as defamatory and damaging online publications.
According to a legal document circulating on social media, Blaqbonez’s legal representatives accused Odumodublvck, whose real name is Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, of making statements that allegedly harmed the rapper’s reputation and professional standing.
In the memorandum issued by Blaqbonez’s lawyers, the rapper claimed he has suffered substantial damage as a result of the alleged publications.

Part of the document states:
“Our client has suffered and continues to suffer significant loss and damage as a direct consequence of your unlawful conduct.”
The legal team further alleged that the publications portrayed Blaqbonez in a false and damaging light, affecting his personal and professional reputation.
Among the reliefs being sought is an order directing Odumodublvck to pay ₦2 billion in general damages.
The document reads in part:
“An order of the Honourable Court directing Mr. Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu to pay our client the sum of ₦2,000,000,000 (Two Billion Naira) as general damages for injury to reputation, goodwill, commercial standing and professional interests.”
In addition to the monetary claim, Blaqbonez is also seeking:
- A declaration that the alleged publications were defamatory.
- An order restraining Odumodublvck from making or publishing further statements of a similar nature.
- Other legal remedies relating to the alleged injury to his reputation and commercial interests.
The legal correspondence also references claims of alleged malicious online publications, harassment, and reputational damage.
As of the time of publication, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the legal action or the claims contained in the documents circulating online.
The development has generated widespread discussion among fans, with many closely watching to see whether the dispute will be resolved privately or proceed through the courts.
