Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid is arguably the biggest African musical export abroad and his been doing it for nearly a decade.
The 29 year old Ojuelegba crooner took to his official twitter account to announce that
his much anticipated 3rd studio album titled made in Lagos would be released October 15th
2020. Which is a month away from now.
Wizkid also moments ago released his second single off the album titled No Stress.
Which is coming weeks after his first single release off the album titled Smile
which featured American singer H.E.R.
Wizkid’s last Studio Album titled AYO was released in 2014 under the EME Label owned
by Banky W and Captain Demuren and his own record Label called Star Boy.
Since the release of that Album , in 2017 he released some mashed up collections
of singles released between 2014 and 2017 in an EP titled Sounds from the Other Side.
Meanwhile in 2019 Wizkid released another Body of Work titled SoundMan Vol 1.
which was another EP followed up from his last EP in 2017.
On the international scene he has sold out the famous O2 Arena twice, first in 2017
and then again October 2019 same day Nigeria’s biggest Musical Award known as the
Hip Hop Awards was held in Lagos.
