20-year-old Manchester United Player Mason Greenwood has been arrested by police following allegations of Rape and physical assault by his Ex-girlfriend.
Police were seen outside the star’s home this evening amid news of his arrest. His Premier League club also announced he has been suspended indefinitely.
“Greater Manchester Police was made aware earlier today (Sunday 30 January) of online social media images and videos posted by a woman reporting incidents of physical violence,” said a statement.
“An investigation was launched and following inquiries we can confirm a man in his 20s has since been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
“He remains in custody for questioning.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
Recall that Harriet Robson took to social media accusing the England international of physical violence.
In several posts on her official Instagram account, Harriet is seen covered in blood and bruises on her body.
In one of the photos, she stated that the blood and bruises are a result of the physical violence Greenwood inflicted on her. (watch 18+ graphic video).
