Funerals: Catholic Priests In Igboland are lacking in Compassion — Writer Chimamanda Adichie (video)

Popular Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Adichie took a dig at the catholic church once again as she recalls her experience at the hands of catholic priests when it comes to funeral services.

According to her, it’s absolutely heartbreaking, there is so much that happens when people try to bury someone they lost especially in the eastern part of Nigeria.

She said one of the reasons she is talking about it, is because she doesn’t want what happened to us to happen to others, in Igbo land, priests are lacking in compassion, demanding all sorts from families just to bury someone.

To date, no apology has been offered, the wrongs that we suffered have not been righted, so how much worse would it be for ones who do not have the privilege she has or her platform, people have endured all kinds of humiliation because they just want to give their families a befitting catholic funeral, I think it’s terrible and most of all it has to change.

Popular Nigerian Comedian, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu aka Comedian Mr Funny aka, Oga Sabinus start down with Ebuka on Rubbin Minds on Channels TV recently and he revealed that there is a lot of money in content creation, that he makes about 1.5 million per ads skit.
