Portable, a popular Afrobeat singer, issues a public apology to the Headies Award organizers after making a subliminal threat to his co-nominees.
This comes after the artist was nominated for two awards, ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ and ‘Rookie of the Year,’ after which he playfully threatened his fellow nominees and the organizers.
As a result of Portable’s claim, Headies filed a complaint with the police about a threat to life, despite the fact that it distances itself from violence.
The organizers also demanded that the musician rescind his threat, along with a list of additional criteria to be completed in an undertaking posted on their Facebook page.

Portable responded to Headies by stating that his statements were simply a statement with no desire to damage anyone.
