Portable drops official statement, denies sending boys to Brutalize Young Duu

“I’m tired of young Duu, his wahala is too much” - Portable

Nigerian musician and record label executive, Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable, has debunked claims of coordinating an attack on his former signee, Young Duu.

His management issued a disclaimer through his Instagram story on Tuesday night, in reaction to a claim by Young Duu that his loyal servants were sent to beat him up.

The ex-Zeh Nation artiste had ranted to the public during an Instagram Live session to warn Portable to leave him alone and not inflict any further harm on him.

The rising singer said he is not a troublemaker who laments anyhow on social media, and he just wants to do his thing without being bothered.

Young Duu said, “Portable sent his boys to beat me up, you guys should warn him to leave me alone. You know I don’t come here [social media] to rant senselessly. Portable should be call to order. I don’t want any problem. I don’t make trouble.”

Reacting, Portable vowed to take legal action and claimed that his former artiste is trying to damage his reputation of Portable.

The statement reads;

*IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE

Our attention has been drawn to the allegation made by “Yungidu” against Portable that he was beaten by some boys sent by Portable.

We condemn in the strongest terms the said allegation as it is completely without any substance and it is deliberately designed to tarnish Portable’s industry reputation.

We urge all Portable’s fans to completely disregard such blatantly false allegation as we are briefing our Lawyers to take appropriate action with the authorities to address this situation.

We further wish to state that Portable is in a good state and already preparing for his TOUR due in Russia and the United Kingdom.

By our findings, we are not unaware that such malicious allegation is a well designed plan by Yungidu to trend on the industry reputation of Portable in a bid to promote his soon-to- be released song. To all Portable fans, we appreciate you for your constant and continuous supports.”portable duu
