I am a child of God – Portable begs for forgiveness after slapping pastor (VIDEO)

Controversial street-pop star, Portable, has expressed remorse for slapping a pastor who arrived to preach at his bar.

The incident, which was caught on camera a few days ago, led to backlash from netizens and other preachers who condemned Portable’s actions and threatened to take action against him for assaulting a man of God.

In a video posted at midnight on Monday, Portable addressed the controversy and apologized for his behavior. He attributed his actions to past experiences and asked for forgiveness from God. He explained that he attacked the preacher because he mistakenly believed that he was there to cause him spiritual harm.

“My fans, community issues are different from that of the street. May God forgive me. I didn’t know he was a genuine man of God. If I knew I wouldn’t have slapped him.

“I’m also a child of God. I’m human, I’m not perfect. I am an orphan. They have harmed my sister through this same strategy.”
