Stanley Nwabali, the goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, shared the news of his mother’s passing on social media.
“A very very crazy world indeed; RIP mom, worst year of my life already,” the 28-year-old wrote on X.
This tragic event comes shortly after he lost his father on November 15, 2024.
Due to these heartbreaking losses, he was unable to participate in Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda.
