Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, one of the most glamorous celebrity couples, have faced a difficult few months.
Rocky was at risk of being imprisoned for up to twenty years on felony assault charges, but fortunately, he was cleared of all charges on Tuesday. Overjoyed, Rocky immediately embraced Rihanna in court after being declared not guilty by a jury.
Despite being mostly absent from the trial, Rihanna attended the closing arguments with her two children and showed her love and support for Rocky with a heartfelt Valentine’s Day post on Instagram
RiRi took to Instagram after the verdict was read, however, to keep the celebration going.
The singer got on social media to voice her relief over the not guilty verdict. “The glory belongs to God and God alone,” she wrote.
Rihanna made it clear that she was overwhelmed by the good fortune that Rocky and the rest of her family were treated to. She was, and is, tremendously thankful as a result. “Thankful,” she added. “Humbled by his mercy!.”
Riri has never been shy about showing support for A$AP Rocky. She has, however, been mostly quiet on the topic of the felony assault case.
The post featured clips of the couple in Paris, showcasing their strong bond. Throughout the trial, Rocky remained quiet but has spoken about how well he and Rihanna complement each other.
