Billboard has named Trinidadian rapper Nicki Minaj as the greatest female rapper of all time on their list of the Best Female Rappers of All Time. The list also included iconic artists like Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, and Queen Latifah.
Interestingly, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, who are considered rivals of Nicki Minaj, were ranked outside the top 10. The top spots were secured by Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim, and Queen Latifah.
Further down the list were MC Lyte, Salt-N-Pepa, Roxanne Shanté, Eve, and Foxy Brown in the top 10. Cardi B landed at number 11, while Megan Thee Stallion came in at number 15.
Despite her widespread acclaim as the greatest female rapper of all time, Minaj has not yet won a Grammy. In contrast, both Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have claimed Grammy wins in rap categories.
