Portable Granted ₦1 Million Bail by Ilorin Court Over Saheed Osupa Defamation, Cyberstalking Charges

Controversial Nigerian singer Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has been granted bail by an Upper Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, following his arraignment on multiple criminal charges.

Portable faced allegations including:

  • Criminal defamation

  • Intimidation

  • Inciting public disturbance

  • Cyberstalking

The court approved ₦1 million bail, with strict conditions. The bail requires:

  • Two sureties in like sum

  • One must be either the Chairman or Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN)

  • The other must own a landed property within a Government Reserved Area (GRA), with a valid Certificate of Occupancy
