NIMC Introduces NIN Authentication for Seamless Digital ID Verification

NIMC announces Nigerians will now pay for NIN cards

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has officially launched a new digital service known as NIN Authentication (NIN Auth) — a fast, secure, and modern method to verify the National Identification Number (NIN).

In a statement issued by Kayode Adegoke, Head of Corporate Communications, on Tuesday in Lagos, the commission explained that the platform is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing efforts to modernize identity management.

“This supports President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to improve how identities are managed in the country,” Adegoke said.

What is NIN Auth?

According to the official website — https://ninauth.nimc.gov.ngNIN Auth simplifies the way Nigerians share and verify their identity. It acts as a digital extension of your NIN, making identity verification easier than ever before.
