South African media powerhouse Minnie Dlamini has turned 35, and she’s marking the milestone with gratitude, reflection, and renewed purpose.

The beloved TV host, actress, and entrepreneur took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video montage capturing highlights from the past year, filled with smiles, laughter, and memorable achievements.

In a reflective caption, Minnie wrote:

“34 was a year of wins, lessons, and quiet blessings… The highs and lows will always be there, but when you focus on the blessings (not the noise), you see the good far outweighs the bad. I’m grateful, I’m aligned, and I’m ready to keep winning. Let’s see what 35 has in store.”

A Year of Big Milestones

The past 12 months have been a career-defining season for Minnie Dlamini. In March 2025, she was honored with the Forbes Africa Excellence in Entertainment Award, recognizing her influence and impact in the media industry.

Just a month earlier, Minnie was also featured on the cover of Forbes Africa’s #Over30Under50 issue. Sharing her excitement, she wrote:

“To be celebrated in the company of remarkable African women… is such an honor. Ngiyabonga.”

In April 2025, Minnie returned to television as Executive Producer of Club Bangers, a new music show that premiered on Channel O on April 4.

“15 years ago, I worked as an intern on ‘Live’. Now I’ve created a show that celebrates our music culture — a full-circle moment,” she said.

In June 2025, she also returned to radio, joining Gagasi FM as co-host of The Gagasi Fast Lane with DJ Sphectacula and DJ Naves.

“Durban, I’m home for a brand new chapter… #BackOnRadio.”
