Court Freezes Kizz Daniel’s Accounts Over $50K No-Show Controversy

Kizz Daniel

Popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has reportedly had his personal and business accounts frozen following a court order linked to a failed show appearance.

According to reports shared by verified X influencer @DAMIADENUGA, the ‘Buga’ crooner was ordered to pay $200,000 in damages after failing to perform at an event in Germany.

The singer was allegedly contracted for $100,000, with $50,000 (₦74.5M) paid upfront as an advance. However, he failed to turn up for the show.

Organizers claimed that despite promising a refund days later, Kizz Daniel did not fulfill his word—prompting them to seek legal redress.

According to blogger Cutie Juls, the court ruling not only ordered damages but also included a freeze on his personal and business accounts. Screenshots of the payment trail were also shared online.

As of now, Kizz Daniel and his management are yet to comment on the development.
