Real Madrid completes a stunning comeback against Bayern Munich, winning 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night to advance to the UEFA Champions League final.
Despite Bayern’s early lead in the second half, two late goals in the 88th and 90th minutes startled the visitors and propelled Madrid to an incredible victory.
Madrid will meet another German club, Borussia Dortmund, on June 1st in London’s Wembley Stadium.
This would be Madrid’s third final in the space of 3 years. The last time they were in the final was 2 years ago, and they went on to win it, making it a record 14 Champions League titles, the highest by any club.
They have also been the highest winners in the last ten years, with four Uefa Champions League titles (2016, 2017, 2018, and 2022).
