Wizkid, the Nigerian Afrobeats singer, also known as Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, revealed that his upcoming sixth studio album will be dedicated to his late mother, Jane Morayo Balogun.
In a video message shared on his social media, the ‘Ojuelegba’ artist announced that the album, titled ‘Morayo’ in honor of his mum, will be released soon.
He said, “My album ‘Morayo’, dedicated to my mum, the love of my life, drops very soon. Don’t dull. Don’t sleep.”
Wizkid’s mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away on August 18, 2023, in London, and the singer expressed that the pain of her loss still deeply affects him.
