Nigerians express excitement as Afrobeat artists, Tems and Rema are included in former American president, Barrack Obama’s 2024 summer playlist.
Each year, the 44th president of the United States unveils his favorite songs of the year. Throughout the years, numerous Afrobeat artists have been featured on his prestigious list, but this time only two singers made the cut.
Tems secured a spot on the playlist for her exceptional work on the hit track, Love Me Jeje from her newest album, “Born in the Wild.”
Additionally, Rema’s Yayo, from his latest album “HEIS,” also captured the attention of Barrack Obama and was included in his playlist.
