Davido, Father, and Gov. Adeleke Reportedly Funding Osun Workers’ Salaries – Bode George

Fresh revelations have emerged online alleging that Afrobeats star Davido, his father Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke have been paying workers’ salaries in Osun State from their personal funds.

The disclosure was made by former Ondo State governor, Bode George, during an interview on Nigeria Info FM Lagos 99.3.

George explained that due to the withholding of local government funds by the Federal Government, Osun State has been unable to access allocations, leaving it owed over ₦5 billion.

According to him, the Adeleke family stepped in to cover the shortfall:

“Davido, his father, and Governor Ademola Adeleke have been paying workers’ salaries from their pockets for the past six months now.”

He further disclosed that during a recent conversation, Governor Adeleke expressed frustration with the situation and even hinted at considering leaving the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
