Celebrity barman Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has taken a swipe at Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy, mockingly referring to him as “a bingo.”
The nightlife promoter remarked following his energetic stage performance at the Uyo Stadium during Davido’s tour.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Cubana Chief Priest expressed gratitude to Davido for giving him the platform to perform and praised him as the father of Afrobeats, stating that without Davido, the genre would be “a bastard.”
He wrote:
“Chief Priest Don Do Stadium. Dem Sabi My Gbedu Well Well For Uyo. From Today Onwards, Akwa Ibom Has My Fat Heart. @davido Without You, AfroBeats Is A Bastard. 001 For A Reason, The Papa Of AfroBeats.”
Reacting to the post, a fan commented, “Burna Boy, you for leave CP ooo.”
In response, Cubana Chief Priest fired back, writing:
“The bingo go cry.”
As of now, Burna Boy has not responded to the mockery. The two celebrities have reportedly had a history of online friction, with subtle jabs and tension surfacing intermittently on social media.
