Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele has issued a clear warning to Chelsea FC ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg encounter.
Chelsea will host the French champions at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, facing a daunting task after suffering a 5–2 defeat in the first leg in Paris.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Dembele made it clear that PSG have no intention of sitting back to defend their advantage.
“Our mentality is clear. We want to win all the matches,” Dembele said, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
“We are not going to stay in our own half to defend. We are going to attack to try to go and grab the victory.”
The statement signals an aggressive approach from PSG despite already holding a strong lead, suggesting the Parisians are aiming to dominate both legs rather than protect their advantage.
Dembele, who won the Ballon d’Or last year, is expected to play a key role for the Ligue 1 side as they look to finish the job and secure qualification to the quarter-finals.
For Chelsea, the challenge is steep—needing at least a three-goal margin to force extra time and four goals to qualify outright—against a PSG side brimming with attacking confidence.
