Christian Combs, popularly known as King Combs and son of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, has sparked online controversy after threatening to assault rapper 50 Cent, drawing a swift and dismissive response from the veteran artiste.
The exchange emerged amid heightened attention surrounding 50 Cent’s newly released documentary centred on Diddy, which has generated widespread discussion across social media platforms.
In a now-deleted post, King Combs wrote, “On my dad, if I ever see 50 Cent, I’ll slap the f*** outta him,” marking yet another instance of public tension between the Combs family and the rapper.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, responded within hours, choosing mockery over escalation. “Lil bro, first, close your damn mouth when you take pictures,” he wrote, brushing off the threat.
He went further to contrast their careers, stating, “I been rich 3 different times, sold records, sold shows, sold liquor, sold power. You are still living off Wi-Fi and legacy. Relax.”
The response underscored 50 Cent’s long-standing narrative of self-made success, while portraying King Combs as benefiting from inherited status rather than personal achievements within the music industry.
The incident adds to 50 Cent’s ongoing public feuds, which currently include disputes with fellow rappers Jim Jones and Maino, alongside his prolonged rivalry with Diddy himself.
